A junior oilpatch company operating in Countess has applied to add to natural gas-fired generators to its processing plant in the County of Newell, according to an application filed with the Alberta Utilities Commission. Journey Energy stated in early December filings that it plans to add two generators, capable of producing a total of 4.1 megawatts of power, that would put excess power on to the Alberta grid. Public feedback on the project, located 1.7 kilometres south of the Village of Rosemary, is now being collected now until Feb. 5. The station could be constructed by June of this year, according to the application, and would be connected to nearby Fortis distribution lines. 4
