mcranker@medicinehatnews.com@MHNmocranker A local learning centre is opening its doors Sunday and inviting Hat children to a Christmas event. Little Owl Learning Centre will be open from 1-4 p.m. and it will offer activities to children. “This is best suited for kids aged two to six but their siblings are welcome,” said owner Justine Mann. “We’re going to have a number of activities set up and a number of different places for kids to explore. “We’re going have Holiday games, open-process art, a hot cocoa station and we will have a raffle for a Christmas gift basket.” The event is free for everyone, but Little Owl is asking people to bring in a donation to the Medicine Hat and District Food Bank. Mann says the learning centre has undergone construction recently and is hoping the Christmas event will spread Holiday cheer and showcase its facilities.
