Visitors from around Alberta coming to the Hat for Volkssport walks

Hatters and visitors from the Edmonton, Devon and Red Deer area and Colorado will lace up their shoes and get steppin’ this weekend. The Volkssport Club of Medicine Hat hosts Alberta Majesty, which will see about 75 people walking Medicine Hat’s community trails. Walks happen Saturday through Monday. Saturday’s walk will be either 7 or 14 kilometres to Echo Dale from the Gas City Campground. A pair of 12 km walks in Elkwater are set for Sunday at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and an 11km walk will take place on Monday starting at Police Point Park at 8 a.m. Members of the public are welcome join. 6-5
