City removing playground equipment at south-end park for safety reasons

By Medicine Hat News on August 7, 2019.

Rundle Park Playground’s equipment has been scheduled for an early-autumn removal after reaching its life expectancy, the city says.

The removal of the playground – located at Rundle Avenue and Robinson Drive – is for “safety purposes,” according to a City of Medicine Hat news release.

The Parks and Recreation Department will examine whether there’s demand for a replacement.

The park will be fenced off until the playground’s removal is complete.

A complete map of the city’s playgrounds can be found on its website.
