Alberta Milk Producers, ATB Financial hosting breakfast event

Alberta Milk producers and ATB Financial are promoting “Breakfast on a Dairy Farm” event Saturday at the Kingslake Hutterite Colony near Foremost. The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. south of Highway 61 on Range Road 132. Billed as a chance to enjoy free breakfast served by local dairy farmers and experience first hand what life on a dairy farm is all about, the morning is also sponsored by the WestGen group of ag companies. Open Farm Days Registration for farms and ranches to participate in this summer’s “Open Farm Days” closed at the end of May, and the annual event, put on by Alberta’s Culture and Tourism Ministry is slated to be held for the public on Aug. 17 and 18.
