A 72-year-old man has died after a collision on the Trans-Canada Highway northwest of Brooks, according to police. The Brooks RCMP responded to the crash at Range Road 150 and Highway 1 Monday around 5 p.m. A pickup truck, travelling south on Range Road 150, collided with an SUV that was travelling east on the highway. The fatality – the man driving the SUV – was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup and a passenger in the SUV were taken to a hospital nearby. The cause of the crash is under investigation and at this time no charges have been laid. 7
