One man arrested by Redcliff RCMP, another sought by police after theft in Okotoks

An arrest by Redcliff RCMP has led to charges related to an Okotoks theft.

On March 1 at about 1 a.m. two males broke into an Okotoks store and stole multiple items of NHL-branded clothing and cash. The incident was captured on video surveillance.

Two days later, one of the men alleged to be responsible was arrested in Redcliff on unrelated matters.

Carl Christopher Quesnell, 46, of Calgary, is charged with break and enter to a business, theft over $5,000 and failure to comply with conditions of an undertaking. Quesnell remains in custody and will appear in court via closed-circuit TV on March 8.

Police are still searching for the second man seen on the video.
