Three fire stations responded to a house fire on Chinook Drive about 7 a.m. Monday.
“There was significant damage done to the house,” said Lance Purcell deputy fire chief. “There will also be water damage of course but there’s significant fire damage to the house.”
Nobody was in the home at the time and it was a neighbour who noticed the fire, said Purcell.
Neighbouring properties were not affected and at this stage fire services is not commenting on the possible cause. An investigation continues, said Purcell.
