A Helping With Haircuts event is being held Monday afternoon at the Salvation Army and will offer a free haircut to anyone in need.

The inaugural event is running from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army.

“Basically it’s an event for anyone in need that needs a bit of help,” said organizer Erin Seufert. “The Salvation Army holds dinners during the evening and that’s who we’re expecting to be coming to the event.

“It’s free haircuts, free hot chocolate and we have a couple gifts to give away as well that have hair supplies in them.”

The event is being held through Business Ambassador students and stylists from around the city are donating their time to the event.

“There’s a number of stylists that are willing to come out and help,” said Seufert. “We’re thankful that there were some people willing to come out and support the event with their time.”

The event is running on a first-come, first-served basis.

“I saw something on Facebook about haircuts for the homeless and I thought it would be something awesome to do in our community,” said Seufert. “It’s important to do things to get the community out there and this is what was what came to my mind.”

It’s great that you’re giving those who need it the opportunity to get a free haircut. My husband also does not go to the barbershop for a long time, there are enough resources on the Internet to master this skill himself. Here https://wisebarber.com/best-hair-clippers/ I found cool tools for home haircuts, and now I cut my husband’s hair myself.
