The CP Holiday Train will roll in to Medicine Hat on Friday.
The annual cross-country fundraiser on the rails is scheduled to be in town at about 4:15 p.m. The half-hour performance, in its familiar spot east of the rail yard facing North Railway Street, is set to start at 4:30 p.m.
Medicine Hat-raised Terri Clark is the big name riding the train for the second straight year. She’s joined by Sierra Noble and Kelly Prescott.
As always, the CP Holiday Train is a fundraiser for local food banks. Since 1999, the train has raised more than $14.5 million and 4.3 million pounds of food.
