A Pets and More Christmas market is being held all day Saturday at the Beveridge Landmark Events building.
The event is running from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is hosting more than 45 vendors and pet experts during the event.
“At the event we’re going to be raising money for the Medicine Hat SPCA, Alberta Pound and Rescue Centre, Persian Dreams and Furry Friend Food Foundation,” said organizer Desirae Kinahan. “Admission is going to be by donations of either pet-related goods or a monetary donation — we’re just asking people to give whatever they can.”
There will be a large variety of vendors, both pet and not pet related, including pet supplies, jewelry and art. Kinahan says the market is for everyone.
“There’s lot of pet stuff but there’s a lot of stuff that’s not pet related,” she said. “There’s tons that’s not, so anyone looking to do some shopping will be interested in something.”
The event will also feature pet photos with Santa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2-4 p.m., kids crafts, write a letter to Santa, a silent auction, face painting, sleigh rides, 50/50 raffles and more.
