Calgary police searching for fatal shooting suspect they think could be in the Hat

The Calgary Police Service is looking for a shooting suspect it says could be in Medicine Hat.

Both Reat, 21, is wanted in connection with the shooting of Mohsen Al Nemesh, 22, who was found dead Oct. 12 in Calgary’s Signal Hill neighbourhood.

A 20-year-old man was taken to the hospital after the shooting in life-threatening condition, which has since been updated to stable.

Police say Reat is known to frequent Medicine Hat, Calgary, Lethbridge and Edmonton.

He’s described as 6-foot-6, 220 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

The CPS is asking people not to approach Reat if they see him in public.
