UPDATE: Medicine Hat police say missing woman found safe

UPDATE: Police say that based on information received from the public Tammy Parnell may be in the Medicine Hat area and may possibly have two “husky-type” dogs with her. (Aug. 23, 9:30 a.m.)

Medicine Hat police are asking for the public’s assistance to locate a missing woman.

Police says Tammy Parnell was last seen on Aug. 17, 2018 at about 9:30 a.m., and appeared to be in a distressed state at that time.

She was last seen driving a 2005 GMC Yukon with Alberta plate BJW 6154 west on 16th Street S.W. The vehicle has damage to the driver side headlight, hood and bumper.

Parnell is described as a 45-year-old Caucasian woman, about five-foot-six, 170 pounds with curly, long brown hair. The police report says she was last seen wearing a black tank top with a green mesh shirt, black shorts and sandals.

Anyone with information regarding Tammy Parnell’s location or vehicle is asked to call the Medicine Hat Police Service at 403-529-8481.
