Former alderman to go blue at JDRF event

Medicine Hat’s Academy of Learning is hosting a social afternoon this Friday.
On Aug. 17 the public is invited to visit the AOL campus in the Co-op Mall from noon to 3 p.m., as the group thanks local Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation volunteers.
As a special treat John Hamill will have his hair and moustache dyed blue for JDRF after the group raised more than $1,000 for JDRF. Music, snacks and drinks will also be a part of the event.
