South Railway lane reduction from Sixth to Kingsway is underway

Medicine Hat News Westbound traffic on S. Railway Street has been reduced to one lane from Sixth Street to the Kingsway Avenue intersection. Eastbound South Railway traffic is detoured onto Sixth Street to and from Kingsway. Traffic east of Sixth Street is open to two-way traffic. Motorists and pedestrians are reminded to obey all traffic signs/signals and drive safely around work crews. “We thank everyone for their support and patience as we undertake this important project and would like to remind the public that access to all local businesses continues to be maintained,” the city said in a press release. 7-6
