The Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede visual arts show attracted nearly 400 entries last year, and this year’s start arriving today.
Entries for the visual arts show can be dropped off in the Fireside Room Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon, says chair Leslie Mayer.
Submissions range from photos, sketches, painting, and pottery to blown glass, sculpture and fibre arts.
Once all entries have been submitted, they are hung and displayed in readiness for judging on July 16.
There will be an official opening July 23 at 6:30 p.m., where winners will be announced.
