Halloween always creeps up quickly, and if you’re anything like us, you likely think about making cool plans and coming up with fabulous costumes, only to drop the ball when the time finally comes. So, we’re going to help you plan without causing decision fatigue. Alberta is packed with fun and unique events that you won’t soon forget, from creepy corn mazes to haunted houses that will chill you to the bone. We’ve rounded up the biggest and best Halloween attractions across the province that will have you and your crew screaming in delight or fright (ideally, both). Whether you’re in the big city or want to check out some smaller-town happenings, there’s no shortage of thrilling activities this Halloween season.

Deadmonton House – Edmonton

If you love a good scare, Deadmonton is the place to be. This iconic haunted house in Edmonton has become a Halloween staple with chilling themes that change yearly. Fort Edmonton Park’s DARK – Edmonton

DARK at Fort Edmonton Park is not your typical haunted house. This immersive experience plays on your deepest fears. If you’re a fan of all things spooky, you’ll love Stampede Fright Night in Strathmore. This eerie Halloween bash takes over the Strathmore Stampede grounds, turning them into a haunted wonderland. Expect haunted houses, live entertainment, and plenty of chances to scream your head off! But the best part? There’s always something a little bit cowboy thrown into the mix, giving this event the best Alberta twist. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience where Alberta cowboy culture meets bone-chilling fun.
