Pair of Medicine Hat Symphonic Society shows soon

The Medicine Hat Symphonic Society has two nights of music coming up. On Nov. 29 the vocal concerto competition will take place at St. John’s Presbyterian Church at 7 p.m. A release from the group says “the young vocalists in Medicine Hat will amaze you with the quality and variety of their performances.” On Dec. 2 a Medicine Hat Youth Orchestra concert will take place at the Medicine Hat College Eresman Theatre at 7:30 p.m. The ensemble will present “favourite classical pieces, mixed in with jigs and reels and maybe even a Christmas tune.” Guests the South Alberta Pipe and Drums will join the orchestra for a special piece. 4-3
