Raise a glass or two for the Monarch

The Society of the Friends of the Monarch Theatre are just about ready to pop the cork on its annual Christmas fundraiser. The Christmas Wine Tasting takes place at Beveridge Landmark Events on Nov. 1, starting at 6 p.m. In addition to the win, MH Brew Co. will unveil an exclusive new brew, music will be provided by Quarum and there will be a silent auction and door prizes. Tickets, $39, are available on Eventbrite, from board members and at the trade show this weekend. Hurry though, the event has sold-out four years in a row. Money raised at the event will go to refacing the brick on the back wall. 7-6
