Led Zepagain, which Jimmy Page says is "as close as you'll ever get to the real deal," is at the Esplanade tonight.
Medicine Hat News
When Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page says your band is “as close as you’ll ever get to the real deal,” you must be doing something right.
When a Led Zeppelin tribute band that’s received that high praise is coming to Medicine Hat, you must go if you’re a Led Zeppelin fan.
That means you should be at the Esplanade tonight when Led Zepagain takes the stage.
Renditions of “Stairway to Heaven,” “Immigrant Song” and “Whole Lotta Love” have put the band front and centre in any conversation about Led Zeppelin tributes.
The look, performances and of course the sound produced by vocalist/harmonica player Swan Montgomery (“Robert Plant”), guitarist/mandolinist Anthony David (“Jimmy Page”), bassist/keyboardist/mandolinist Jim Wootten (“John Paul Jones”) and drummer/percussionist Derek Smith (“John Bonham”) have become the stuff of legend, just like the original band.
Tickets, $51.32 all in, are available at tixx.ca, by calling 403-502-8777 or in person at the Esplanade box office or the Medicine Hat Mall customer service desk.
