Beer bellies and belly laughs are on tap at the Canalta Centre next month.
The local venue hosts the finale of the MadHatter Comedy Festival on Aug. 11, presenting Steve Hytner, Kevin Farley and local stand-up comic Stephanie Foley for Brew Ha-Ha!
Those three will provide the Ha-Ha, and the Brew will come from the tickets to sample beers, ciders and meads from various breweries. The sample tickets are included with the ticket to the main show.
Hytner is best known as Kenny Bania from “Seinfeld” and has also appeared on “Modern Family,” “CSI” and “Friends.” He’s also headlined comedy clubs across the U.S.
Farley is a regular at The Laugh Factory in L.A. and Chicago as well as a film star. He’s the brother of the late Chris Farley.
Stephanie Foley has been making southeastern Alberta laugh for years and is behind the MadHatter Comedy Festival. The second edition runs Aug. 8-11. More information will be revealed in the coming weeks.
