.A week ago today, family and friends filled Gordon Memorial United Church to celebrate the life of a dear mother and grandmother, Teena Bueckert. Rev. Schaufele led the congregation through a spiritual journey of scripture and prayer… sons, Terry & Rick offered words of praise on behalf of the family and Terry recited a poem that he wrote in honour of his mother… the Legion Ladies Auxiliary paid tribute to Teena with their ceremonious Maple Leaf Service… Grandma would have been proud of her grandchildren as Melissa, Jennifer, Sara, Aja and Joel acted as urn-bearers and carried grandma to her final place of rest.
Throughout our lives we’ve never known
Such faith from any other
The source of Love, from God above
That one would be our mother.
Her Life Lived…
Her Life Cherished…
Her Life Honoured.
