.It’s been just over a week that family and friends united to pay tribute to a wonderful wife and mother, Shelley Burr. The numerous flowers at the front of the chapel showed just how much she was loved and will be missed. Jan shared in a heartfelt tribute to her wonderful sister speaking of their numerous family trips and how Shelley took much pride in being a cancer spokesperson… Celebrant Getz encouraged the family to preserve the bonds of love instilled in them by Shelley and shared a Mother’s Poem, for Dani and Karly. A special song entitled, “I Will Remember You”, was the tearful song that played as the congregation exited the chapel remembering a lady that will never be forgotten.
A lifetime of memories,
Time cherished together,
Shelley showed all…
A mother’s love is forever!
Her Life Lived…
Her Life Cherished…
Her Life Honoured.

.Last week, a lifetime worth of memories were revisited by both family and friends as they gathered to remember the life of George Klein. At both Vigil Prayers and the Funeral Mass, George’s family shared tributes through pictures from days gone by and words from the heart as shared by Beverlee, Marilyn and Bretton. Father Philip Le and Father Tomy Manjaly led the Mass of Resurrection while Gerry led the choir in singing some of George’s favorite hymns. A final farewell followed at Hillside Cemetery with relatives and friends joining the family for fellowship thereafter in the Parish Hall.
He was a wonderful man,
Hard to surpass…
He left his mark on this world
With dignity and class.
His Life Lived…
His Life Cherished…
His Life Honoured.

.It was just one week ago today that family and friends joined together in Cook’s Chapel to celebrate the life of Fred Hilderman. Reverend Scheske led the congregation in music and prayer and Jim offered comfort through a tribute from the heart. Upon exiting the chapel, a special selection entitled “I Did It My Way” was played – a perfect way to honour Freds memory!
