Minor Hockey Roundup: U17AAA SE Tigers fall to Northstars in South Div. Finals

The U17AAA South East Tigers playoffs came to a close over the weekend.

After an upset in the first round, taking down the top-seed Red Deer Chiefs, the Tigers lost two straight games to the Calgary Northstars, dropping the best-of-three series 2-0.

The Northstars won Game 1 3-1 Wednesday in Calgary. Dane Friedt scored for Medicine Hat, Jake Druar made 35 saves.

The Tigers hosted Game 2 on Saturday, falling 4-0. Druar made 36 saves.
