Adam Vulcano to return for second full season with Mavs

The Medicine Hat Mavericks will have Vulcano in the red and white again.

The Mavs announced Monday infielder/outfielder Adam Vulcano will return for the 2026 summer.

Vulcano has played parts of three summers in Medicine Hat, joining in the last weeks of the 2023 and 2024 summers before he debuted full time in 2025.

In his first full season, Vulcano had 32 hits with four home runs, 21 RBIs and a .219 batting average in 41 games. In three postseason games, he had three hits and an RBI with a .333 average. Last season he had the chance to play alongside his brothers Johnny and Aaron.

Adam Vulcano joins a group of nine returning players, pitchers Gary Dornan, Luis Diaz and Diego Centella as well as six returning position players, Nate King, Jamel Chabot, Jeremy Freeman Jr., Blake Dale, Carter Roth and Evan Morrison.
