In partnership with the Root Cellar Food & Wellness Hub, HALO Air Ambulance and the YMCA, the Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta will host its Philanthropy & Professional Advisors Tradeshow on March 11. “This event is about proactive, informed planning,” said CFSEA executive director Niki Gray. “Individuals, families and businesses across southeastern Alberta are navigating increasingly complex financial decisions. Our goal is to provide trusted expertise, encourage collaboration and help people plan with clarity and purpose.” The event aims to bring together various professionals, including financial advisers, accountants, lawyers, land specialists and charitable organizations, alongside citizens seeking strategic planning insights in the region. The show will take place from 12:30-5 p.m. at the Cypress Centre, and is “especially valuable if you’re beginning estate or succession planning, navigating business, land, or farm transitions, seeking tax-efficient strategies or working as a professional adviser,” said CFSEA. Attendees will connect directly with trusted local advisers and organizations, plus learn about how charitable giving can fit into their financial planning, both presently and as part of their legacy. Alongside these opportunities is a presentation by keynote speaker Joel Bray with JB Philanthropy, a highly respected financial planner and philanthropy adviser with nearly two decades of experience. Tickets are still available as of the time of writing for $25, at https://bit.ly/Philanthropy26. 8
