MH Interpretive Program marking Read To Me Day with nature theme

Taking part in International Read To Me Day, the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is looking to hear resident’s favourite passages about nature.

Attendees are asked to bring a “short passage, poem, or section of a paragraph about nature and the natural world that gives you a sense of wellbeing and hope, speaks of endurance, or takes you back to your favourite place” to share with the group as part of this free public program.

If the weather is pleasant, the program will take place around the fire pit adjacent to the Nature Centre, but will be moved inside in the event of unfavourable skies or temperatures. In either case, aspiring readers can drop in from 11 a.m. to noon on Mar. 19.
