Santa Claus Fund will remain in mall location for at least another year

The Medicine Hat News Santa Claus Fund is extending its stay in the Medicine Hat Mall for at least another year.

Primaris, owner and operator of Medicine Hat Mall, has provided the Santa Claus Fund with a signifiant rent break that will allow the non-profit to maintain the current location, ensuring continued accessibility and visibility for another Holiday Season.

SCF executive director Deanna Doerksen says the central location helps increase community awareness and makes it easier for residents to drop off donations and get involved.

“We are incredibly grateful to Primaris for their commitment to our community,” said Doerksen. “Their partnership makes a real difference by helping us reduce operational costs so we can focus on what matters most – supporting local families during the Holiday Season.”

The Santa Claus Fund has worked hard to bring the warmth and magic of Christmas to families in need across the region for almost 40 years.
