The Rattlers hosted the Olds College Broncos this weekend, winning 3-2 in a shootout Friday before losing 2-1 Saturday. In Friday’s win, Mya Girard and Sienna Vieira each scored and Sarah Shields made 25 saves. Gracie Soderstrom scored in Saturday’s loss, Anna Stewart made 24 saves. MHC’s women’s team (10-15) will make their ACAC playoffs debut this weekend, facing the No. 1 seed Lakelake College Rustlers in a best-of-three series. Game 1 is Friday (7:15 p.m.) and Game 2 is Saturday (7 p.m.). If needed, Game 3 is Sunday at 3 p.m. Basketball MHC’s basketball teams faced the St. Mary’s Lightning in a home-and-home weekend. The men’s team split the weekend, winning 90-82 Friday at home before losing 96-86 Saturday on the road. Ethan Robinson had 24 points and seven rebounds in Friday’s win. Wol Wol had 18 points and 10 rebounds for a double double and Kieran Isnor had 19 points and five rebounds. Wol had 23 points and 16 rebounds Saturday, Isnor had 15 points and Robinson had 10 points. Colby Anderson had 14 points off the bench. The Rattler women’s team lost both games against St Mary’s, falling 75-57 Friday and 66-62 Saturday. Alei Kuthping had 15 points and five steals in Friday’s game. On Saturday, Alexis Watkiss had 22 points and 16 rebounds. Jasmine Gardiner had 10 points and Addison Graf had 13 points and 11 rebounds off the bench. The men (10-10) and women (8-13) both missed out on the ACAC playoffs. 14
