RCMP in Brooks hosting pair of town halls next week

Brooks RCMP is inviting residents to attend town hall meetings in Brooks and Rainier next week to engage with local officers, provide feedback and learn about trends and programs.

Members of the Brooks RCMP will host a public town hall event inside the Rainier Hall at 7 p.m. on the evening of Feb. 24 and at 7 p.m. at the JBS Canada Centre in Brooks in the East/West Room the following night.

The meetings provide residents a chance to meet and engage with local officers and learn about policing updates, priorities and trends, and gather input from the public regarding future policing priorities.

“These town halls are an important way for us to connect with the community we serve,” said Staff Sgt. Robert Harms. “We encourage residents to attend, learn more about policing in their area, and work together with us to build a safer community.”
