Medalta museum officially open for 2026 on Saturday

On Saturday the Medalta in the Historic Clay District is hosting a free event to celebrate the official 2026 museum opening.

Residents are invited to the historic museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 7 to enjoy the museum with free admission throughout the day as well as free guided tours.

Tours will run from 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and will be limited to a maximum of 25 participants per tour on a first come, first served basis.

Throughout the day the museum will also offer a limited time sale on all Medalta and Hycroft wares in the gift store, including crocks and bowls.
