Multi-award nominated band to close out Blues at the Bow season

A Juno-nominated performer is closing down the 32nd season of the Blues at the Bow concert series in Bow Island at the end of the month.

Samantha Martin and Delta Sugar will headline the final show of the season at the Bow Theatre on Feb. 28.

For more than 30 years, Blues at the Bow has brought Grammy, Juno, W.C. Handy Award and International Blues Challenge award-winning and nominated artists to the southern Alberta region.

Samatha Martin and Delta Sugar is an 11-piece band based in Toronto that combines blues, soul, gospel and rock music. Their 2018 album “Run to Me” was nominated for the Juno for Blues Album of the Year.

Tickets for the show are available on Eventbrite and on the Blues at the Bow webpage.

Doors are at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m. Tickets start at $44.
