The Medicine Hat Mavericks bolstered their outfield Monday.

The Mavs announced the return of all-star outfielder Jeremy Freeman Jr. for the 2026 season.

The Chicago, Ill. product had a .340 batting average in 47 games last summer, with 70 hits, five home runs and 43 RBIs. In two playoff games he had two hits and two walks.

Freeman Jr. played solely in centre field for the Mavs, performing multiple highlight-reel plays throughout his first season in the WCBL.

He joins infielders Evan Morrison, Carter Roth, Blake Dale and pitcher Diego Centella as the five announced returning players from the 2025 team.
