newsdesk@medicinehatnews.com Brian Woodman, 25, faces charges of harassment and mischief for his alleged involvement in a property interference investigation dating back to December. Brooks RCMP say they arrested and charged Woodman on Jan. 8 after gathering information on complaints alleging he obstructed a female’s use and enjoyment of her property. The investigation began Dec. 10 when RCMP received a call from a local electrician who was called to a home that was reportedly experiencing frequent power outages. Mounties say the electrician observed that power had been manually switched off to the unit and the electrician reported unusual behaviour from the property representative at the scene. After gathering sufficient evidence members of the RCMP’s General Investigation Section arrested Woodman, who has been charged with criminal harassment and mischief. Woodman was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear before court Feb. 18. Brooks RCMP say they take reports of harassment and property interference seriously and encourage anyone experiencing similar issues to call mounties at 310-7267 (RCMP), or anonymously through Crime Stoppers. 9
