Shawn Mrowil had three goals and five points in the win. Fischer Sprunger had a pair of goals and a pair of assists, Tyson Nguyen had two goals and both Rustin Wenzel and Joe Steinkey each finding the back of the net. Both Callaghan Tjeerdema and Nash Dyck had three assists, Dawson Ressler made 25 saves. The U13AAA SE Tigers (11-8-0-0-3) have two home games this weekend, they host the CBHA Wranglers on Friday (4 p.m.) and the CRAA Gold on Saturday (4:45 p.m.), both games at the Hockey Hounds arena. U15 The U15AAA SE Tigers hosted two home games, losing 5-3 Saturday to the Calgary Flames and 5-1 Sunday to the Okotoks Oilers. In Saturday’s loss, Beckam Sprunger, Teddy Maser and Evan Miller each had a goal and an assist, Raylan Johnson had a pair of assists and Hunter Munro made 51 saves. Diesel Bishop scored the Tigers’ lone goal Sunday, Hunter Knoll made 28 stops. The U15AAA SE Tigers (1-22-0-2-0) are on the road for a pair of games this weekend. The Medicine Hat U15AA Hounds had two games over the weekend, dropping both. They lost 4-1 on the road Saturday to the Wheatland Warriors before losing at home Sunday 4-1 to the East Kootenay Avalanche. Nash Korchinski scored the Hounds’ goal Saturday, Maddox Joyal made 21 saves. In Sunday’s loss, Talon Stolz scored and Colson Neigum made 51 saves. U16 The Medicine Hat U16AA Hounds lost 4-1 Saturday to the CBHA Hawks before falling 6-1 Sunday to the Wheatland Warriors. Everett Ward scored in Saturday’s loss and Marshall Turner made 42 saves. Gage Bowal scored on Sunday, Bryden Tschritter stopped 45 shots. The U16AA Hounds (7-15-0-0-1) are on the road Friday before they host the Okotoks Oilers on Sunday for a 1:30 p.m. contest at the Hockey Hounds arena. U17 The U17AAA SE Tigers were one of 24 teams playing at the Calgary International Hockey Academy Winter Classic over the weekend. They played a pair of games Thursday, beating the SSAC United Cycle Bulldogs 4-2 before losing 4-1 to the Calgary Northstars. In the Bulldogs’ win, Illya Khazov had a goal and three points, Trevin Ibach, Dane Friedt and Taisen Yake each scored solo markers, Griffin Stenger made 21 saves. Khazov scored the Tigers’ lone goal in Thursday’s loss, Jake Druar made 36 saves. They beat Shawnigan Lake School 3-1 on Friday. Khazov scored all three Medicine Hat goals, Stenger made 26 saves. The Tigers lost 4-3 in a shootout Saturday, falling to OHA Edmonton. Logan Neuls had a goal and an assist, George Maser and Ibach each scored and Druar made 28 saves. The U17AAA SE Tigers (6-14-0-0-3) are on the road Sunday. U18 The Medicine Hat U18AA Hounds had two games over the weekend, losing 8-2 Friday to the Golden Suns before falling 6-4 Sunday to the Okotoks Oilers. Jaxon Benci and Evan Marentette each scored in Friday’s loss, Treyton Wilson made 48 saves. In Sunday’s game, Nixon Kunkel and Mavric Ward each had a goal and an assist, Ethan Hall had three assists and Jon Jackle added a pair of helpers. Hudson Corbett made 38 saves. The U18AA Hounds (8-16-0-0-3) are on the road Sunday. 29
