Med Hat Curling Centre hosts AG Bonspiel

The Medicine Hat Curling Centre hosted a 16-team bonspiel over the weekend.

The local curling club welcomed teams from Alberta and Saskatchewan for the AG Bonspiel.

The winner of the A Event was Moch Ranching, defeating Jeff Bodin’s team in a close, back-and-forth final. Moch Ranching featured Leon Moch, Robert Jensen, Jackie Schell and Harvey Moch.

Mike Murray’s team (Mike Murray, Jason Murray, Eve Maalerud and Darrel Ens) won the B event.

Al McKinley’s group (Rylan Schneider (sparing for Rob Reesor), McKinley, Jeremy Good and Levi Muncsh) won the C event.

Tom Strain’s team (Terry Devalter, Kevin Russell, Murray Haubrich and Strain) won the D event.

The next event at the Curling Centre is the Lady’s Bonspiel Jan. 30 to Feb 1, followed by the Canadian Livestock Curling Association Bonspiel Feb 6-8.
