State of the City luncheon will touch on year past, year ahead

Mayor Linnsie Clark will speak to citizens to highlight city actions over the past year during the upcoming annual State of the City luncheon held at the end of the month.

This will be Clark’s fifth address to Hatters to start the year following her re-election in last October’s election, and is themed “Building Together: Mayor’s Luncheon on Community Engagement.”

Tickets are on sale to attend the luncheon event, hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Medicine Hat and Medicine Hat Lodge on Jan. 27, and can be purchased online at eventbrite.ca.

Doors will open at the Medicine Hat Lodge Ballroom at 10:30 a.m. with a lunch buffet planned to begin around 11:45 a.m. The welcoming address is planned to start at 11:30 a.m. and the event is scheduled to conclude at 1:30 p.m.
