newsdesk@medicinehatnews.com Students graduating from their programming at Medicine Hat College have until March 16 to register to attend the upcoming convocation ceremony. MHC began accepting applications online Wednesday for the ceremony planned to take place at Co-op Place in June. Students not planning on attending the ceremony still need to apply to graduate to receive credentials. Additionally, the college has posted information on graduates’ arrival entrances, ordering gowns and photography taken during the event. This will mark the college’s fifth convocation ceremony held at Co-op Place. The move provides additional space and parking for guests and there is no limit to how many people a graduate may invite to attend. MHC is also accepting nominations for its annual honorary degree. Members of the public are encouraged to submit a nomination before the Jan. 31 deadline. Doors will open for guests at Co-op Place on June 12 at noon with the convocation planned to begin at 1 p.m. 9
