newsdesk@medicinehatnews.com Next Wednesday, Crescent Heights High School will open its doors to welcome new Grade 7 students planning to attend in the fall. Two open houses are planned for upcoming Grade 7 students from feeder schools Jan. 21, welcoming new students to the school and providing information on programs, which will be offered to students. Students will be provided information of the school’s performing and creative arts programs, sport teams and academic programming, as well as meet teachers and tour the school. The first hour-long open house begins at 6 p.m. for families and students of incoming Grade 7 students from École Connaught, Dr. Ken Sauer and River Heights schools. At 7 p.m. the open house will welcome families and students from Elm Street, Vincent Massey and Webster Niblock schools. Crescent Heights High School is also selling tickets for its upcoming live theatrical performance that begins at the end of the month. “All Shook Up,” a musical comedy based on the many hits from King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley, runs from Jan. 28 to Feb. 7 and tickets can be purchased for $25. 9
