Summers were often spent at McLaren Lake, where the boat would run from sunup to sundown and Flo made sure everyone family and friends alike were well fed. Flo’s “happy place” was their townhouse in Sparwood, where she enjoyed close friendships, family time, skiing at Fernie in the winter, and golfing with siblings and family in the summer. After Don’s passing, Flo treasured road trips with her daughters, including visits to Moose Jaw, throughout British Columbia, and a memorable trip to Mexico to visit Donna and Brian.
