Applications open for CFSEA’s annual Community Impact Award

The start of applications for the 2026 Community Impact Award is just around the corner, with organizations able to submit theirs starting Monday.

This annual award “supports innovative, community-driven projects that strengthen communities, create lasting impact and enhance quality of life across southeastern Alberta,” said the Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta, which distributes the award each year.

The award features a one-time $35,000 grant to a registered charity or other eligible organization delivering programs or services in the community.

Last year’s Community Impact Award was presented to McMan Youth, Family & Community Services to support the development of the Kickstand youth hub in Medicine Hat, including enhancements to the kitchen space, which is exactly the kind of work the grant is intended to support.
