Ringette Roundup: U12 Mustangs travel to Calgary for pair of weekend contests

Medicine Hat’s U12 A and B Mustangs were in action in Calgary over the weekend.

The U12A Mustangs faced Bow View in a pair of games, losing the first contest 11-1. Maizee Trotter had the lone Medicine Hat goal.

In the second game they battled, ultimately falling 10-8. Addison Staheli scored four goals with assists by Trotter, Eris Davies and Kylee Drever. Trotter also had four goals, with Jayla Klaudt and Davies recording assists.

The U12B Mustangs Faced Calgary Northwest-1 for the first game of the weekend, losing 7-1. Avery Fuller scored with an assist from Fallyn Weeks.

In the second game the Mustangs faced a fresh Calgary Northwest-2 team, holding them scoreless through the first 10 minutes before ultimately falling 9-1. After Calgary opened the scoring, Charlie Lowe responded with a solo tally, Ava Lanuk had the lone assist.

Zayda Dawson was in net for both games.

The U12B Mustangs return to Calgary on Saturday for their final games before the Christmas break.
