Waves Swim Club races at UCSC Holiday Classic

The Medicine Hat Waves Swim Club raced in Calgary over the weekend.

The local swim club sent five swimmers to the UCSC Holiday Classic in Calgary on Saturday and Sunday.

Wesley Henderson set three new short course club records in the nine-year-old girls 50m Breast, 100m Free and 200m Free. Elizabeth Humphreys set a new provincials time in the 16 and over girls 50m Fly and 50m Back short course provincial trials.

Individual results for Waves simmers:

Wesley Henderson (9, F): Finished first in the 100m Breast, third in 50m Breast and sixth in 100m Free and 200m Free.

Olivia Willberg (13, F): Finished fifth in 100m Fly and 200m Free, 11th in 50m Fly, 14th in 50m Back and 16th in 50m Free and 100m Free.

Elizabeth Humphreys (15, F): Finished first in 50m Back and second in 50m Fly, 50m Breast, 50m Free and 100m Free.

Isabel Unreiner (15, F): Finished second in 200m Free, fourth in 100m Free, fifth in 50m Fly, seventh in 50m Breast, 10th in 50m Free and 11th in 50m Back.

Jordan Hill (16, F): Finished fourth in 400m Free, ninth in 50m Back and 14th in 50m Free.
