Redcliff tree lighting and festivities to be held Friday

The Town of Redcliff is kicking off the Holiday Season with a tree lighting and parade this Friday.

In collaboration with Redcliff FCSS, the Redcliff Youth Centre and White Dragon Karate, the town will have their Santa Claus Parade and ceremony that evening. The parade will begin at 6 p.m. on Broadway Street at the corner of Main Street, ending at Memorial Park for the tree lighting ceremony at 7 p.m.

At the same time, attendees can enjoy Moonlight Madness at several businesses throughout town as well as a selection of local vendors at the Parkside Christmas Market at Parkside School. Both run until 8 p.m.

“Drink a cup of hot chocolate while visiting with Santa and Mrs. Claus, enjoy a holiday hay ride with the Grinch and bask in the warmth of a crackling fire while roasting s’mores and hotdogs, all completely free while supplies last,” said the Town of Redcliff on their event page.
