asmith@medicinehatnews.com Giving Tuesday 2025 is next week and the Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta is encouraging residents to celebrate by supporting local charities. Recognized globally as a day of generosity, Giving Tuesday inspires individuals, businesses and organizations to give back in meaningful ways, says CFSEA. “Across southeastern Alberta, charitable organizations play a vital role in addressing community needs ranging from food security and mental health to youth programs, arts and culture, senior support and connection,” said CFSEA. To help residents this year, CFSEA is sharing a list of organizations which have put their names forward for residents to consider. These organizations include: – Bridges Family Programs – The Connection, Intercultural Association of Medicine Hat – Clients Ongoing Rehabilitation and Equality (CORE) Association – Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta – McMan Youth, Family & Community Services Association South Region – Medalta in the Historic Clay District (Friends of Medalta Society) – MH Community Housing Society – Medicine Hat Family Service – Medicine Hat Health Foundation – Medicine Hat Interpretive Program – Medicine Hat News Santa Claus Fund – Medicine Hat Women’s Shelter Society – Redcliff Youth Centre – Root Cellar Food & Wellness Hub – Saamis Immigration Services Association – SafeLink Alberta Medicine Hat – Sanare Centre – SE AB Chamber of Commerce Legacy Fund – South East Alberta Fetal Alcohol Network – SPEC Association for Children & Families – South East Alberta Watershed Alliance – Unison at Veiner Centre – YMCA of Southeastern Alberta “Giving Tuesday invites us to support the causes that matter most to us,” says Niki Gray, executive director of CFSEA. “It’s more than a day of donations.
