Explore medicinal, edible plants through Interpretive Program’s latest offering

Those curious about Medicine Hat’s potentially medicinal or edible plants are invited out for the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program’s newest offering, “Where the Wild Things Grow.”

While this free public program, set for 2-3:30 p.m. on Dec. 11, will not include any harvesting or foraging, it will introduce attendees to the concept through the use of the iNaturalist app.

Registration is required to attend, so those interested are asked to call ahead at 403-529-6225. They are also asked to ensure the app is already installed on their phones and that they dress appropriately for the weather as participants will be heading outside to explore the park.

Hot drinks and a healthy curiosity about the natural world are encouraged.
