City crews have been busy installing a total of 354 festive light fixtures along 10 high-traffic roads to help celebrate the Holiday Season.
Crews are working on the annual light installations along Eighth Street NE, Trans-Canada Way, Carry Drive, Dunmore Road, 13th Avenue SE and Division Avenue N.
Additionally, crews are installing lights in the downtown area on First Street SE, Maple Avenue Bridge, Kingsway Avenue and S. Railway Street.
The roads are chosen due to how busy they are, and ensure a balance of lighting across the city.
The city is asking residents to obey all traffic signs and posted speed limits in areas where crews are installing light displays.
Typically the city begins installing its festive light displays following Remembrance Day.
