Redcliff seeking participants for Santa Clause Parade

Redcliff has released a public announcement seeking participants to join Santa Claus during the annual parade, which runs Dec. 5.

The town is accepting float entries until Dec. 1, which can be registered by contacting staff at cps@redcliff.ca.

The annual Santa Clause Parade and Christmas Tree Lightning ceremony runs from 4-8 p.m. on Dec. 5.

The parade begins at 6 p.m. on Broadway at the corner of Main Street and will end at Memorial Park for the lighting of the Christmas tree at 7 p.m., and is free for everyone.

“Drink a cup of hot chocolate while visiting with Santa and Mrs. Claus, enjoy a Holiday hay ride with the Grinch, and bask in the warmth of the crackling fire, while roasting s’mores and hotdogs,” reads a public announcement.

Additionally local businesses will be open around town until 8 p.m. for the Moonlight Madness event and there will also be a Christmas Market set up at Parkside School from 4-8 p.m.
