Rattlers Roundup: MHC women’s hockey drops trio of weekend games

The Rattlers hosted the Lakeland College Rustlers for three games, falling 3-1 Friday, 4-0 Saturday and 4-3 on Sunday. In Friday’s loss, Gabby Hales scored for MHC and Anna Stewart made 34 saves. Stewart turned aside 29 shots in the shutout-loss Saturday. On Sunday, Mya Girard had a goal and an assist and both Zayda Summach and Airy Thomas each scored, Sarah Shields made 38 saves. MHC’s women’s hockey team (1-8) are off until Nov. 21 and 22 for two games against the SAIT Trojans, hosting them on Saturday at the Moose Rec Centre for a 7:30 p.m. contest. 7-6
