Blue Jays fans lose feed as Sportsnet+ crashes again during Game 7

By Canadian Press on November 1, 2025.

TORONTO — Toronto Blue Jays fans were left staring at error screens Saturday night after Sportsnet’s Sportsnet+ streaming service went down during Game 7 of the World Series.

The outage cut off streams as the Los Angeles Dodgers came up in the seventh inning, sparking frustration across social media.

The streaming feed froze and displayed a “Code 22” message, reading, “We have detected an issue with your network. Please check your connection and try again.”

It was the same message users saw during a similar streaming failure in Game 4, when Toronto mounted a big inning en route to 6-2 win.

At that time, Sportsnet told customers they could continue watching for free on Sportsnet.ca.

Sportsnet, owned by Rogers, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
